Undercover by Danielle Steel: Book Review
Once again, Danielle Steel has blown me away. I cannot stop reading or listening to this book. It was very interesting. The story-line makes you want to know more and never stop reading.
About the Book:
The story evolves around Marshall and Ariana. First Part of the book talks about Marshall, a DEA Undercover Agent in South America. The second half was about Ariana, a rich girl, fresh out of college and the daughter of the newly appointed US Ambassador of Argentina. Although, both stories were years apart the similarity is that both of them found love in South America but that love was cut short, they lost the people they love the most. It made them both miserable. Then, Paris, the place were they both tried to find a new life and a new beginning and where these two individuals met.
The story is the usual Danielle Steel story-line... LOVE, LOST, GRIEF and FAMILY. But what's more interesting is the setting of the stories, the plot and twist that the protagonist has encountered. This book makes you want to just know what happens next and to finish it right then and there.
It's the kind of novel that despite the lost and sorrow. You can certainly say, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. It gives you hope. It's a happy ending after all. It's a feel-good book, that everything will turn out right in the end.
I won't deny, but I'm such a sucker for happy endings.
If you're like me, who loves happy endings, then I suggest you read this book.
